Kept You Waiting, Huh? (UPDATES)

So my last journal was from almost 2 years ago, wow. We're way overdue for an update. Here I will talk about my voice acting, real life, being with the SSS crew and a new relationship. LONG-ASS JOURNAL, AHOY!

So what happened to me you may ask? Well, basically activity that was keeping around on DeviantArt slowed down a lot therefore I had less and less reason to keep popping onto here. I stayed active on Youtube however with my voice acting and so on. I've been losing roles as of late (thanks to animators dropping their series which is always understandable but most of them did not notify us) but slowly, I've been trying to load more onto my list and get my voice going again. I'm still working closely with the SSS team and a couple other great friends/directors.

Unfortunately, my whole art muse is on hold right now as my tablet broke over a year ago and I have not been able to replace it yet and it's a lot of effort to get traditional pieces together and onto here with the time I have. I'm sure I'll eventually get back to it, hold on in there for me!

As for my real life?
I started working full-time back in August 2013 (Mon-Fri 40 hours a week) meaning I get tired a lot more often making it difficult to getting round to do more of the creative hobbies I enjoy. Most things get done on the weekend now but even then there is no promise. 

Since moving away from education now that I've completed it, I've lost many friends in the process but I still have my trusty London gang and I've recently, in the last couple of years, got much more closer to some of the SSS Warrior Cats team and members of the voice acting community. I love talking to people like Faus, Willi, Ray, Sorena, Felca, Aluri and so on. You guys are really great friends. Thanks to being a part of the SSS team, I met my current other-half which I'll get onto soon. I met 3 members of the SSS team (Firepaw, Wanton and Whitestorm) in New York back in the summer and spent a week hanging out with them; it was super fun and great to see them. We'll certainly being doing that again soon. 

I think the biggest update to mention is my current Relationship. 
Back in November 2013 I split up with my girlfriend of 2 years but it wasn't out of spite or anything else of the sort, it was just a bunch of things I came to realise were not going to work for us in the future and would make things very difficult and that she needed someone closer to her who could offer much more support than I. We're still friends to this and talk now and then but obviously it will never be the same which we've both accepted and settled with. 

4 months later, in March 2014, I started a new relationship with Baird, also known as Fallout Kat on Youtube and as the voice of Whitestorm in SSS Warrior Cats. I had known him for over a year through the SSS project. Not long after splitting up from my last relationship, I got a chance to speak to the SSS crew a lot more and spend more time with them, in the process I began to noticed that I shared a lot in common with Fallout and that we shared similar thoughts, beliefs and opinions on many things. Of course, this brought us closer to the point where I realised I like him a lot more and then in March, after an awkward confession session, heheh, we agreed to date. We are now 7 months in and doing really well. 

Fallout has done so much for me and he has no idea just HOW MUCH that is. Thanks to him I feel a lot more confident in myself than I ever have but I still have a long way to go to really show that. It really helps with my voice acting, my work and myself in general and being with him makes me very happy. I haven't been so happy in a veeeery long time, folks. He's always there to support me, keep me going and we can talk about and share absolutely everything; it's really nice to have someone like that. Thank you so much, Baird. Here's to a bright future for us. Thanks for helping me improve myself and the life I try to live.
