Am I doing it right? Haha.
For the past couple of weeks I've thrown myself into my own diet. Basically, I've stopped myself from snacking and eating too much junk during the day. It's nothing like one of those diets they advertise in magazines/forms of media (Which usually aren't the healthiest ways to lose weight anyway) it's just an easy going one. All I've done is changed a few things I would normally have during some meals, changed most sweet things for fruit and only having one lil' bit of chocolate during an entire day or every few days depending on how I'm feeling and of course, no snacks unless otherwise which will then be something small or fruit.
I say it's going pretty well, I've stuck to it with the exception on one night where I went to a small gathering of friends but that was one night, I returned to plan the next day. It's okay to allow a treat of a day now and then!
Why am I doing this?
Mostly for myself, I want to feel better about myself both inside and out. I'm rather fed up with feeling shitty all the time because I comfort eat with junk food and slob around too often. It happened too much within the past few months due to stresses and worries and it didn't help! I think my body would appreciate it too.
This will also hopefully give me a bit more confidence for a lot more things and train my willpower; even during the very low days I must learn to have a bit more control.
